- Teaching skills to enhance learning, such as communication, sharing, and problem-solving
- Demonstrating best practices in child development, including emotional regulation and social skills during group activities

- Emotional maturity and stability
- Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable, and cooperative with a sense of humor
- Ability to take supervision and correction constructively
- Ability to positively supervise students
