Responsibilities

  • Assisting patrons in locating and utilizing library materials, databases, and digital resources

  • Supporting students and researchers with academic projects, research papers, and information sourcing

  • Teaching information literacy skills, including how to evaluate sources, cite references, and conduct academic research

  • Conducting workshops or one-on-one sessions on effective study strategies, digital literacy, and research techniques

  • Demonstrating best practices for navigating library systems, organizing research, and utilizing reference tools across various subjects

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Emotional maturity and stability
  • Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable, and cooperative with a sense of humor
  • Ability to take supervision and correction constructively
  • Ability to positively supervise students
