Responsibilities

Reviewing classroom materials and lesson plans with students
Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research, and other academic tasks
Working with students to help them grasp key concepts from the classroom
Teaching skills to improve academic performance, such as study strategies, note-taking, and test-taking approaches
Demonstrating academic best practices, including research and writing techniques for specific subjects and assignments

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree
Emotional maturity and stability
Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable, and cooperative with a sense of humor
Ability to take supervision and correction constructively
Ability to positively supervise students
