Responsibilities

  • Assisting students in navigating academic records, scheduling, and course registration systems.

  • Supporting students with personal, academic, and career counseling, and helping them address challenges related to school life.

  • Teaching coping strategies, social-emotional skills, and academic success techniques, including time management and stress reduction.

  • Conducting workshops or one-on-one sessions on college preparation, career planning, and personal development.

  • Demonstrating best practices for effective communication, goal-setting, and utilizing support resources across various school programs.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.

  • Strong emotional maturity and the ability to remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations.

  • Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable, and cooperative with a sense of humor to foster a supportive environment.

  • Ability to receive supervision and feedback constructively for continuous improvement.

  • Ability to positively engage with and supervise students while promoting their personal and academic growth.
